Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Tow Truck on Gulf Freeway in Houston

Rider Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Gulf Freeway 

Houston, Texas (July 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident involving a tow truck Monday night in Houston, according to police.

The deadly crash happened around 9:28 p.m. on July 13, in the 15900 block of the Gulf Freeway.

Police said the motorcyclist was swerving when he rear-ended a parked flatbed tow truck that was removing a vehicle that was stalled from the side of the freeway.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The crash closed the freeway for several hours.

The Houston police are investigating the crash.
