One Killed in Dickinson Motorcycle Crash on W FM 517 Road

Dickinson, Texas (February 9, 2019) – One person was killed in a fatal chain-reaction collision involving a motorcycle in Dickinson early Friday morning, according to police.
The crash took place in the 1200 block of W FM 517 Road at about 12:56 a.m. February 8.
Police said a Mazda collided with a Harley Davidson rider, and the impact ejected the motorcyclist. The rider was thrown about 100 feet and was subsequently hit by a Hyundai Elantra, pinning him beneath the vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
No other injuries were reported.
The authorities cited the driver of the Mazda for failure to yield.
Police are investigating the accident.
