Woman Injured in Car Crash on S. Koenigheim Street in San Angelo

Woman Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on S. Koenigheim Street at W. Twohig Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (March 11, 2023) – A woman was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in downtown San Angelo, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on March 10, at the intersection of S. Koenigheim Street and W. Twohig Avenue.

Authorities said a maroon Honda SUV was traveling northbound on S. Koenigheim Street when it was struck by an eastbound white Lincoln SUV that was attempting to cross Koenigheim on W. Twohig Avenue.

The Honda driver was taken to Shannon Medical Center, where she was treated for minor injuries.

The female driver of the Lincoln was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
