Houston-Area Man Killed in Grimes County Motorcycle Accident on Texas 30 near County Road 192
Grimes County, Texas (April 12, 2019) – A Houston-area man was killed in a traffic crash in Grimes County Wednesday evening, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 on Texas 30, near the intersection of County Road 192 close to the Gibbons Creek Reservoir.
The DPS said the man was riding his motorcycle on Texas 30 when for an as of yet to be determined reason he collided with a tractor-trailer.
The rider died upon the impact. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
