One Injured in Train Crash at Hwy 44 and CR 93 in Nueces County

Man Injured in Nueces County Train Crash on Highway 44 and County Road 93

Nueces County, Texas (August 28, 2020) – A man was injured Thursday afternoon in a train crash in Nueces County, according to deputies.

The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., August 27, on Highway 44 and County Road 93.

Deputies said the crash involved a Nueces County Public Works vehicle and a train.

One man was taken to Spohn in Alice after complaining of shoulder pain.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
