One Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Sam Houston Parkway in Harris County; Dagoberto Pablo Monge Arrested

One Killed in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Sam Houston Parkway; Dagoberto Pablo Monge Arrested

Harris County, Texas (September 2, 2020) – One person was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Harris County, deputies said.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:22 a.m., August 31, in the 7800 block of W. Sam Houston Parkway North.

Deputies said Dagoberto Pablo Monge, 50, was driving a car when he rear-ended a white van on the parkway.

The driver of the van was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

Monge fled the scene after the accident. He was later found and arrested. He is currently being held at the Harris County jail, and his bond has been set at $10,000.

The crash remains under investigation.
