Pedestrian Killed in Crash on US 90 in Houston

One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on US Highway 90

Houston, Texas – One person was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:30 p.m., December 22, in the 13400 block of U.S. Highway 90.

Police said a male pedestrian was struck by a silver Honda CR-V in the middle of the westbound lanes.  

The male was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The 72-year-old female driver of the Honda showed no signs of intoxication, remained at the scene, and was subsequently questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
