Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle, Critically Injured on Highway 6 in Houston

Man Critically Injured in West Houston Pedestrian Accident on Highway 6 near Memorial Drive

Houston, Texas (August 20, 2023) – A man in his 30s was critically injured early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in west Houston, according to the authorities.

The accident happened around 1:42 a.m., August 19, in the 500 block of Highway 6 near Memorial Drive.

Authorities said the man was on the roadway when he was struck by a driver in their 20s.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver did not appear to be intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
