One Seriously Injured in East Austin Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Cameron Road and Coronado Hills Drive

Austin, Texas (February 26, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night in east Austin, according to officials.

The accident was reported around 8:05 p.m. on February 25, at the intersection of Cameron Road at Coronado Hills Drive.

Officials said a man was struck by a vehicle at the intersection. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are looking for the vehicle, which was only described as a truck.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
