One Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on South Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas (December 31, 2020) – A person was fatally hit by a vehicle Wednesday evening in south Austin, according to police.
The deadly accident happened around 6:20 p.m., December 30, in the 7400 block of South Congress Avenue.
Police said the pedestrian was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The victim, an adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are investigating the crash.
