Police Officer Injured in Crash with 18-Wheeler at AT&T Parkway and Aniol Street in San Antonio

Police Officer Hospitalized after San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at AT&T Parkway and Aniol Street

San Antonio, Texas (March 13, 2020) – A San Antonio Police officer was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler early Friday morning on the East Side of San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of AT&T Parkway and Aniol Street.

Police said the officer was traveling southbound on AT&T Center Parkway when he glanced down to his computer and T-boned an 18-wheeler.

The officer was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, including a possible broken arm.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
