Roberto Vasquez Among 3 Killed in Midland County Collision on FM 307 and County Road 1083

Midland County, Texas (May 17, 2022) – 40-year-old Roberto Vasquez of Deming was among three people who died Monday night following a two-vehicle accident in Midland County.

The deadly crash took place at about 10:00 p.m. on May 16 at the intersection of FM 307 and County Road 1083.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, a Mercedes Benz was traveling northbound on County Road 1083 when the driver ran a red light at the intersection and entered the eastbound lane.

The Mercedes was then hit on the left side by a Dodge Ram that was traveling eastbound on FM 307.

The driver of the Mercedes and his two passengers, including Vasquez, died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and later released from the hospital.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
