Rogelio Morales Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Southcross Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (November 29, 2020) – The 3-year-old child who was killed Friday night in a head-on collision that also left a woman dead in San Antonio’s Southeast Side has been identified as Rogelio Morales, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m., November 27, in the 3700 block of East Southcross Boulevard.

Police said a silver SUV was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Southcross Boulevard when it crashed head-on into a gray sedan driven by a 48-year-old woman.

The SUV driver and Morales, who was a passenger in the Sedan, were killed in the crash. Morales was not in a car seat but was restrained with a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Sedan driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
