Don Conlee, Jr. Killed in Grimes County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105

Grimes County, Texas (September 18, 2019) – A man was killed Monday night in a traffic collision involving an 18-wheeler in Grimes County, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. September 16, on FM 105.

DPS said Don Conlee, Jr., 41, of Navasota, was driving eastbound on the highway when an eastbound 18-wheeler attempted to make a U-turn and Conlee crashed his vehicle into the trailer of the big rig.

Conlee was killed in the crash.

The driver of the big rig sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
