Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 183 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Austin, Texas (July 26, 2020) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday night in Austin, according to police.

The deadly accident happened at about 11:25 p.m. on July 24, in the frontage road of 1125 U.S. 183, near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Police said the man was struck by a car, for unknown reasons, on the frontage road.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The involved driver remained at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
