Rotimi Arijeloye, Kevin Eom and Sung Moon ID’d as 3 Victims Killed in Palo Pinto Crash on Highway 20 near Santo

Palo Pinto, Texas (July 11, 2023) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the three people who died following a two-vehicle crash Sunday night in Palo Pinto as Rotimi Arijeloye, 46 of Plano, Kevin Eom, 63, of Perris and Sung Moon, 60, of Cypress.

The deadly crash happened at around 11:55 p.m. Sunday, July 10, on Interstate Highway 20, about one mile west of Santo.

DPS said a 2017 Freightliner truck tractor towing a Hyundai trailer was heading eastbound on Interstate Highway 20 when it crossed the center median and collided head-on with a westbound 2022 Freightliner truck tractor towing a Great Dane trailer.

Arijeloye, who was the driver of the 2017 Freightliner, died in the crash. The driver of the 2022 Freightliner, Eom, and his passenger, Moon, were also killed in the crash.

The road and weather conditions were dry and clear. The posted speed limit is 75 mph.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
