One Killed and Three Injured in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Gulf Freeway

Houston, Texas (August 8, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred around midnight on the Gulf Freeway near Howard Drive.

Police said a black pickup truck rear-ended a white sedan on the freeway. Another sedan was also involved in the crash.

The driver of the white sedan was declared dead at the scene.

Three people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Police said the pickup truck driver would be charged with intoxication manslaughter.

No further details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
