Silvano Bent Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on South Center Street in Arlington

Silvano Antonio Bent Killed in Arlington Three-Vehicle Crash on South Center Street near I-20

Arlington, Texas (February 7, 2023) – A 20-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured Saturday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Arlington, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:27 p.m., February 4, on South Center Street near Interstate 20.

Police said a Mustang was traveling north of South Center when the driver apparently lost control as he was trying to switch lanes. He crossed over the median and collided with a Silverado and a Lancer.

The Mustang caught fire after the crash.

The Mustang driver, an 18-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The 20-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Silvano Antonio Bent, of DeSoto.

The drivers of the Silverado and Lancer were not seriously injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
