1 Injured in Hit-and-Run on Main Street in Dallas

One Injured in Dallas Three-Vehicle Crash on Main Street near Cesar Chavez Boulevard

Dallas, Texas (May 3, 2022) – One person was injured early Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Dallas, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:40 a.m., May 2, in the 2200 block of Main Street, near Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

Police said a stolen Ford pickup truck ran a red light and struck a Mercedes and Range Rover. The force of the impact caused the Range Rover to crash into a building.

The Mercedes driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Ford driver fled the scene on foot.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
