Arthur Calvin Killed in Terry County Tractor Crash on FM 213 near Wellman

Terry County, Texas (February 2, 2023) – One person was killed Tuesday evening in a tractor crash in Terry County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened around 6:43 p.m., January 31, on Farm-to-Market Road 213, 5.7 miles west of Wellman.

DPS said Arthur Glenn Calvin, 70, of Quanah, was driving a pickup truck westbound on the highway behind a tractor towing farm equipment. 

The tractor driver made a right turn into a field and was struck by the pickup truck.

Calvin was killed in the crash.

No other information was available.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
