One Killed and One Injured in North Harris County Four-Vehicle Crash on Rankin Road near North Freeway

Harris County, Texas (February 9, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was injured on Wednesday in a four-vehicle crash in north Harris County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened on February 8, on Rankin Road near the North Freeway.

Deputies said four vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles became fully engulfed in flames following the collision.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash closed Rankin Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
