Multiple Injured After Car Crashes into Tokyo Harbor Restaurant in Forney

Multiple Injured After Car Crashes into Forney Restaurant on East US Highway 80 and Marketplace Boulevard

Forney, Texas (March 15, 2023) – Multiple people were injured Sunday evening after a car crashed into a restaurant in Forney, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:00 p.m., March 12, at the Tokyo Harbor restaurant on East US Highway 80 and Marketplace Boulevard.

Police said a driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and crashed into the restaurant.

One person was treated for serious injuries. Other people sustained minor injuries.

Police believe there are other people that were hurt in the accident and left the scene before officers arrived. Anyone that was injured is encouraged to call the department at 972-564-7600.

An investigation is underway.
