Man Killed, One Injured in Austin Crash on Interstate 35 at Ben White Ramp

Austin, Texas (October 16, 2023) – A Sunday afternoon two-vehicle collision has claimed the life of one man dead and left one other person injured in Austin, a local news source reported.

The deadly crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday, October 15, in the southbound lane of Interstate 35 near the Ben White Boulevard ramp.

As per the report, two vehicles collided on the interstate under unclear circumstances.

Following the wreck, the man was pinned under his vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

One person sustained injuries. Their current condition is unknown.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
