33-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on West Loop South (IH-610)

Houston, Texas (June 1, 2021) – A 33-year-old man was killed Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:25 p.m., May 26, in the 2500 block of West Loop South (West Interstate Highway 610 South).

Police said two motorcycles were traveling at a high rate of speed and were weaving in and out of traffic when vehicles slowed down due to heavy traffic, and the motorcyclists tried to change lanes.

One of the motorcycles, a blue Yamaha, rear-ended a white Chevrolet Tahoe and fell to the ground.

The Yamaha rider was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

No other injuries were reported.

The Tahoe driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
