2 Injured, 1 Airlifted after Motorcycle Accident at Wharton Road and Center Point River Road in Center Point

Two Injured in Center Point Motorcycle Accident at Wharton Road and Center Point River Road
Center Point, Texas (January 29, 2019) – Two motorcyclists were injured Monday afternoon in a traffic collision at a Center Point intersection, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 1:18 p.m. January 28, in the area of Wharton Road and Center Point River Road.
DPS said the motorcyclists were riding southeast on Wharton Road when the motorcycle in front came to a sudden stop to yield for a car which was heading eastbound on Center Point River Road.
The second rider then slammed into the first motorcycle and both bikes ended up in the middle of Center Point River Road.
One motorcyclist was flown to the hospital. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The other motorcyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
