Person Killed in State Highway 249 Pedestrian Crash in Harris County

Harris County, Texas (March 24, 2019) – A person was struck and killed by a vehicle in Harris County on Saturday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened in the 14300 block of State Highway 249 about 2 a.m. March 23.
Deputies said the pedestrian was trying to cross the highway when they were hit by an outbound sedan.
The victim died of injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene. Deputies said the driver was not impaired.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
