1 Hospitalized after Houston Car Accident on Westpark Drive near Ocee Street

Houston, Texas (June 3, 2019) – One person was injured early Sunday morning in a head-on crash in Houston, according to a local news report.

The accident took place at about 2:00 a.m. Sunday, June 2 on Westpark Drive near Ocee Street.

As per the report, a silver SUV was traveling in the wrong direction on Westpark Drive when it collided head-on with a black SUV.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the front passenger in the black SUV who was injured as a result of the wreck. The patient was then rushed to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Three other occupants in the black SUV were uninjured.

It was undetermined whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
