Lauren Pepper, Travis Lynch, Gordon Barnsley and Karen Barnsley Injured in Lufkin Two-Vehicle Crash at North John Redditt Drive and North Raguet Street

Lufkin, Texas (October 15, 2020) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Lufkin, according to police.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m., October 13, at the intersection of North John Redditt Drive and North Raguet Street.

Police said a Hyundai Accent was traveling on North Raguet Street when it attempted to turn onto SH 103 west and crashed head-on into a Chevy Colorado which was attempting to turn left onto North Raguet Street from SH103 west.

The Hyundai driver, Lauren Pepper, 25, and her passenger, Travis Lynch, 27, both of Lufkin, had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Pepper was taken to a local hospital and was later airlifted to Health – Tyler for further treatment. Lynch was airlifted to an out of town hospital in an unknown condition.

The Chevy driver, Gordon Barnsley, 71, and his passenger, Karen Barnsley, 74, both of Huntington, were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
