Driver Killed after Pickup Truck Rear-Ends Dump Truck on Chrisman Road in Harris County

Pickup Truck Driver Dies Following Harris County Crash on Chrisman Road near Aldine Bender Road

Harris County, Texas (May 20, 2022) – A pickup truck driver was killed Friday morning in a rear-end collision at an intersection in north Harris County, authorities said.

The deadly crash took place in the 14100 block of Chrisman Road near Aldine Bender Road.

According to the authorities, the pickup truck crashed into the back of a dump truck at the intersection. After the impact, the pickup truck overturned and caught fire.

The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

It remains unclear if the driver of the dump truck was injured.

It was not immediately known if there were any passengers in the vehicles.

The crash remains under investigation.
