Two Injured in Baird Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 36

Baird, Texas (November 29, 2022) – Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision in Baird, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m., November 28, on State Highway 36, about a mile-and-a-half from Camp Pecan Bayou RV Park.

Authorities said the crash involved a black GMC pickup truck and another pickup truck owned by Airway Services, a San Angelo-based renewable energy company.

The driver of the Airway Services pickup from Katy and the driver of the GMC pickup from San Angelo were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
