Man Hit by Metro Bus near North MacGregor Way and Scott Street in Houston

Man Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident near North MacGregor Way and Scott Street

Houston, Texas (June 9, 2020) – A man was injured Monday night after he was struck by a METRO bus in southeast Houston, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m., June 8, near the intersection of North MacGregor Way and Scott Street, close to the University of Houston campus.

Police said the man was struck by the METRO bus near the intersection. He was trapped under the bus.

Firefighters freed the man from under the bus, and he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

An investigation is underway.
