Eric Martinez ID’d as Man Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident at Mesa and Resler Streets

El Paso, Texas (May 30, 2019) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in West El Paso has been identified as Eric Martinez, 56, according to El Paso police.
The collision occurred around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the intersection of Mesa and Resler streets.
According to the report, Martinez was crossing the road when he was struck by a Ford Explorer traveling northbound on Mesa Street.
The victim was rushed to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Police are working to determine the cause of the crash.
