Pamela Brown Hit, Killed by Two Vehicles on I-10 in Orange

Pamela Brown Killed in Orange Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10

Orange, Texas (February 6, 2021) – The woman who was fatally hit by two vehicles last month in Orange, near the Texas-Louisiana state line has been identified as Pamela Brown, 56, of Orange, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened on January 18, on Interstate 10.

DPS said a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling eastbound on the freeway when it hit Brown who stepped out into the traffic lane.

Brown was then struck by a 2016 Toyota passenger vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers, who are from Louisiana, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Although Brown has been identified, her family hasn’t been located. Anyone with any information about Brown’s family is asked to call DPS at 936-699-7340.

An investigation is underway.
