Kenli Riney Killed in San Saba County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 16

San Saba County, Texas (July 28, 2021) – The teenager who was killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision in San Saba County has been identified as Kenli Parish Riney, 18, of Kerrville, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 3:45 p.m., July 25, on State Highway 16.

Authorities said a 2017 Ford Fusion sedan driven by Riney was heading southbound in the northbound lane when it crashed head-on into an oncoming 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by a 45-year-old Santo woman.

Riney was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman was taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple with incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
