Person Killed in Pleasant Grove Pedestrian Crash on Bruton Road

Pleasant Grove, Texas (January 13, 2019) – A person was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Friday evening in Pleasant Grove, according to the police.
The crash happened at about 8:40 p.m. January 12 in the 9900 block of Bruton Road.
Police said the pedestrian was trying to cross the street and was hit by a westbound green pickup.
The driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident.
The victim died in the crash. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The police are investigating the hit-and-run.
