Travis Abbott Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 34th Street Lubbock, Texas (July 26, 2021) – According to the police, one person was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in central Lubbock. The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m., July 24, in the 1100 block of 34th Street. Police said Travis Abbott, 53, was attempting to cross the street southbound, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Abbott was pronounced dead at the scene.
