Nicolas Torres Killed in Brownsville Bicycle Accident on Padre Island Highway Brownsville, Texas (March 12, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident on a Brownsville highway, according to the police. The fatal accident occurred at about 10:40 a.m. March 11, in the 5700 block of Padre Island Highway. Police said Nicolas Garza Torres, 79, was hit by a white SUV on the highway.
