22-Year-Old Man Injured in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Fritch Highway Amarillo, Texas (September 16, 2023) – A 22-year-old man was injured early Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Amarillo, according to the Texas DPS. The accident happened around 1:00 a.m., September 15, on Fritch Highway. DPS said the man, who was intoxicated, was walking in the middle of the highway when he was struck by an SUV.
