James Duke VanLue Killed in Zavalla Plane Crash near Private Runway Zavalla, Texas (June 28, 2020) – A 40-year-old Tomball man was killed in a plane crash early Saturday morning in Zavalla, according to officials. The crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. near a private landing strip.
