Tamara Fatima Mendoza Querales Killed in Fort Worth 133-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Fort Worth, Texas (February 14, 2021) – Six people were killed, and several others were injured Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Fort Worth, according to police.

The fatal crash happened just after 6:00 a.m., February 11, on I-35W, just north of downtown.

Police said 133 vehicles, including 18-wheelers, cars, and pickup trucks, were involved in the crash.

Six people were killed in the crash. The victims have been identified as Aaron Luke Watson, 45, of Fort Worth, Tiffany Louann Gerred, 34, of Northlake, William Darrell Williams, 54, of Pahoa, Christopher Ray Vardy, 49, of Boyd, Michael Henry Wells, 49, of Justin and Tamara Fatima Mendoza Querales, 46, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Sixty-five other people, including four Fort Worth police officers, sustained injuries in the crash. Thirty-six of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
