Police Officer Hospitalized after San Antonio Crash on Loop 410 at Summit Parkway

San Antonio, Texas (November 26, 2019) – A San Antonio police officer was injured Monday night in a suspected DUI crash on the northwest side, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred happened on Monday, November 25, on Loop 410 at Summit Parkway.

Police said two officers had been called to a report of a fight. The officers had parked their patrol cars on the median, and that’s when an alleged drunk driver skidded off the main lanes of Loop 410, rear-ended a patrol car sending it into the other patrol car.

One of the officers was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the car that hit the officers was arrested for DWI.

An investigation is underway.
