Three Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-30 near Greenville

Three Injured in Greenville Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 near FM 499

Greenville, Texas (July 7, 2021) – Three people were injured Monday night in a wrong-way crash near Greenville, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 9:39 p.m., July 5, on Interstate 30 at FM 499.

DPS said a Ford Fusion was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane when it crashed into an eastbound Toyota Camry.

The Fusion driver was airlifted to Medical city of Plano with serious injuries.

The Camry driver sustained minor injuries. A juvenile passenger in the Camry was taken to Children’s Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
