Victoria Lyssy Killed in Beeville Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 181

Beeville, Texas (June 1, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, north of Beeville, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 8:35 p.m. May 30, on State Highway 181.

DPS said a Dodge Ram that was pulling a trailer hydroplaned into the oncoming lane, due to wet road conditions, and struck a Chevy Traverse driven by 25-year-old Victoria Lyssy, of Tuleta.

Lyssy was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy, who were with Lyssy, were taken to Beeville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge was also taken to Beeville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
