Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at Scott Street and Airport Boulevard in Houston

84-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Scott Street and Airport Boulevard

Houston, Texas (September 25, 2020) – The woman who was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash earlier this month in Houston has died, according to police.

The crash happened around 11:40 a.m., September 2, in the 3600 block of Airport Boulevard at Scott Street.

Police said a blue 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt ran a red light while making a left turn at the intersection and was hit by a silver Ford Escape that was traveling northbound on Scott Street.

The driver of the Ford was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on September 13. Her name has not been released.

The Cobalt driver and a passenger were also taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital with unknown injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
