Woman Killed, Man Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 730 and Knob Hill Road near Azle

41-Year-Old Woman Killed, Man Injured in Azle Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 730 and Knob Hill Road (Portwood Road)

Azle, Texas (January 14, 2021) – A 41-year-old woman was killed, and a man was injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Azle, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred around 6:00 a.m., January 13, at the intersection of 13900 block Farm to Market Road 730 and Knob Hill Road (Portwood Road).

Authorities said the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

A man was airlifted to Texas Health Harris Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

The crash closed all lanes of FM 730 for at least five hours.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
