One Killed in SE Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 812

Travis County, Texas (September 27, 2021) – One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a fiery two-vehicle crash in southeastern Travis County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 3:28 p.m., September 26, on FM 812, a mile east of Circuit of the Americas.

Authorities said two vehicles collided, for unknown reasons, on the highway, causing one of them to catch fire.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Two other people were taken to David’s South Austin Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed FM 812, but it has since been reopened.

Further details regarding this crash were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
