One Killed in Barstow Train Crash at Business 20 and County Road 135

Barstow, Texas (May 6, 2023) – One person was killed Friday evening in a train crash in Barstow, Ward County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 p.m., on May 5, at the intersection of Business 20 and County Road 135.

DPS said an 18-wheeler and a train collided at the intersection.

The 18-wheeler driver was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
