Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on South Loop 610 at Riddlewood

Houston, Texas (July 17, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday night in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:15 p.m., July 16, on the South Loop 610 at Riddlewood near Stella Link.

Police said the man was driving eastbound when his car ended up with a flat tire, and he stopped in the middle of the freeway. He was then struck by another vehicle. 

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver who hit the man stopped at the scene and waited for the police to arrive.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
