Dublin, Texas (August 20, 2021) – Three people were killed Monday night in a fiery head-on collision near Dublin, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just after 10:00 p.m., August 16, on State Highway 6, between Dublin and De Leon.

DPS said Timothy D. York, 23, of Burleson, was driving a 2013 Dodge 3500 pickup eastbound on the highway when he crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a 2000 Dodge.

The force of the impact pushed the 2000 Dodge off the roadway, where it caught fire while the 2013 Dodge overturned.

The occupants of the 2000 Dodge, Eduardo Hernandez, 25, Diana Landa, 23, and Azriel K. Hernandez, 4, were all killed in the crash.

York was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statutes which were violated.
