One Injured in Car Crash at U.S. Highway 96 and FM Road 1007 near Brookeland

Person Hospitalized after Brookeland Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. Highway 96 and FM Road 1007

Brookeland, Texas (March 19, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Brookeland, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around noon, March 18, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 96 and Farm to Market Road 1007.

According to the report, a car and a small SUV collided, for unknown reasons, at the intersection.

One of the drivers was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital after complaining of neck and back pain.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
